The new Tenaka bracelet in green grains is the first carbon-positive bracelet symbol of the support that Dodo offers to Tēnaka for the construction of the mangrove forests north of Sabah, a Malaysian state on the island of Borneo. The ecosystem of the coast and that of mangroves, damaged in the last ten years, have become protected areas to repopulate and save these natural habitats. Mangrove forests are not only the world's first source of blue carbon, but they protect coasts from floods and winds, maintain water quality by filtering it from sediments and the hanitat of different types of fish. The limited edition bracelet is made of recycled plastic grains, which derive from mixed plastic waste, the most difficult to recycle.
