Since its launch in 1924, the Montblanc Meisterstück has been considered the quintessential refined writing instrument, a symbol of sophisticated taste and a bold expression of one's personality. Wielded to write a love letter or to sign a historical document, the Meisterstück has always left an indelible mark on the pages of history. To pay tribute to this milestone, Montblanc studied its archives in depth and created the Origin Collection, paying homage to the brand's rich history and heritage. The collection draws inspiration from early designs in our archives and decorative features found in early Meisterstück editions, capturing the founding spirit and infusing it with a modern twist. The complex pattern on the gold-finished body and cap, partially covered in coral-coloured lacquer, recalls a design that was never used and remained hidden for years. With this edition, the Maison thus had the opportunity to present this timeless design, inspired by the Art Deco period. The clip is an homage to the early clip shapes found in some of the earliest Meisterstück writing instruments, and evokes a sense of nostalgia. A closer look at it reveals the original Meisterstück logo, which has adorned the cap since its creation as a symbol of high quality.
